The traditional town of Brufut can be found in the West Coast region of The Gambia. Brufut beach has a wide stretch of golden sand and is often described as paradise. The Brufut woods community project is managed locally working with the West African Bird Study Association. Here you can spot many different species of birds in their natural habitat whilst taking a walk in the beautiful greenery. 

Brufut Market 

The Brufut market is between Brufut and Tanji, here you can purchase products such as clothing, jewelry and food. One of the most popular things to purchase here is the fish, high quantities of fish is dried out here regularly.

Katchikally Crocodile Pool & Museum

If you are happy to travel then Katchikally Crocodile Pool is a great place to visit, situated in Bakau, 27 miles away from Brufut. This has received a Tripadvisor certificate of excellence and you can get up close and personal with the amazing reptiles
