River Gambia National Park

The River Gambia National Park is a beautiful sanctuary along the famous Gambia river. Take one of the boat rides down the river and you might just spot some hippos in their natural habitat, crocodiles along the river banks and many more animals.

Located on the Brikama main street in western Gambia, The Brikama Craft Market was established in 1975 and offers over 50 craft stalls from locals who make and sell their artwork among other products. Visit the Capital Banjul

The capital of the Gambia sits on a segmented island where the river meets the Atlantic ocean. The Banjul cities main entrance is called the Arch 22, created in 1996 this iconic commemorative arch was built to mark the military coup from 1994. Other top things to explore in the capital of The Gambia include Albert market, Gambia national museum and Kunta Kinteh Island, the former English slave port full of the Gambia’s cultural significance.
